Annual Backflow TestingThe District is responsible for protecting the public water supply from contamination by preventing backflow into the water system. Customers with inground irrigation, sprinkler systems, and/or certain water features such as fountains and pools are required to have annual backflow tests conducted. These tests will be due to the District no later than September 30, 2023.
Premises Isolation Program AbandonedWhat It Is: Premises isolation means protection of a public water system ’s distribution system from backflow from a user’s premises through the installation of one or more air gaps or backflow prevention assemblies, installed as close as practical to the user ’s service connection, in a manner that isolates the water user ’s water supply from the public water system’s distribution system.

Clackamas County Public AlertEffective immediately (Sunday, Sep. 13), the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is dropping the evacuation level for the populated urban areas North of the Willamette and Clackamas Rivers from Level 1 (Green) back to Level Zero (Normal). This includes Wilsonville, Lake Oswego, West Linn, Happy Valley, Gladstone, Milwaukie, Tualatin, Clackamas, and some areas in Damascus and Boring.
The skies are cloudy but your water is safe...We want to assure our Rivergrove customers that your water is safe from the effects of the ongoing fires currently in the Clackamas County area. The District's water comes from three wells and is stored in three separate reservoirs. This groundwater is pumped directly from the Columbia River Basalt Aquifer and is protected from any contaminants related to the fires.
Reservoir 3 ProjectOn April 14, 2020 the District broke ground on a Capital Improvement project for Reservoir 3. Reservoir 3 is our largest reservoir servicing the majority of the Rivergrove Water District. This project was initiated to retrofit our reservoir to meet current standards of safety.
